About Australian Battlefield Treks and Tours
Founded by Scott and Meg, our company brings together a unique combination of military experience, educational expertise and a shared passion for Australian military history. Scott served in the Australian Army for more than 35 years, including multiple operational deployments, gaining firsthand insight into military service, leadership and the enduring bonds forged through shared hardship. Meg has dedicated more than 25 years to education, including almost 15 years in leadership roles within the NSW Department of Education, developing a passion for bringing history to life through engaging storytelling and meaningful learning experiences. Together, they combine their knowledge, experience and commitment to honouring the legacy of those who served, creating immersive journeys that educate, inspire and foster a deeper understanding of Australia's military heritage.
Our focus is not only on famous battles and military campaigns, but also on the everyday Australians who answered the call to serve. Their experiences, hardships, achievements and sacrifices are woven into every journey we lead. By walking the ground they walked and exploring the places where history was made, we help bring their stories to life for a new generation.
Working alongside military veterans and subject matter experts, we deliver immersive and meaningful experiences across some of the world's most significant Australian battlefield sites. Whether trekking the Kokoda Track, exploring Gallipoli, following the path of the Sandakan Death March, or visiting battlefields of the Western Front, our aim is to educate, inspire and honour those who served.
We are passionate about creating unforgettable journeys that combine adventure, learning and remembrance—ensuring that the legacy of Australia's servicemen and servicewomen continues to be remembered and respected for generations to come.
