Please read this page carefully before booking. It explains what is included in your trek package, what is not included, and when payments are due.
Trek Inclusions
- Specialist Australian Expedition Leader as your battlefield and historical guide
- Public Liability Insurance Protection, with a limit of A$10 million per claim
- Internal domestic airfare between Port Moresby and Popondetta
- Airport and accommodation transfers whilst in Port Moresby
- 5 Star accommodation in Port Moresby on a twin-share basis, at the Hilton Hotel or equivalent
- All meals both in Port Moresby and on the Trail Exception: ANZAC Day meal arrangements may differ.

Trek Exclusions
- International Airfares To assist with the booking of your flights, ABTT will provide guidance on when you need to arrive in Port Moresby and the day to arrange your departure from Port Moresby for onward travel or to return home.
- Passport
- Personal travel insurance
- Anti-malarial medication and inoculations as recommended
- Backpack, if you choose not to engage a Personal Porter
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping mat
- Personal clothing and equipment as recommended
- Personal first-aid and hygiene items as recommended
- Personal expenses in Port Moresby, including telephone calls, alcoholic drinks, room service, laundry and similar items
- Excess baggage over the 23 kg allowance on international flight
- Personal Porter — A$720
Recommended travel insurance providers include Cover-More or Fast Cover Insurance.
Payment Schedule
A deposit of A$750 per person is payable on confirmation of booking.
The deposit is non-refundable if you change your mind and no longer want to trek.
The balance of payment is payable 60 days prior to departure.
